The Challenge: Eat Purely, a meal delivery service, aimed to diversify its product offering by launching a new initiative to carry and sell shelf-stable products. This required creating a brand that reflected the same high standards as their fresh meal services, with a focus on quality and locally sourced products. The challenge was to build an integrated look and feel that aligned with both Eat Purely’s values and the values of their artisan partners.

The Process: Our team was tasked with creating an entirely new brand for this initiative, which came to be known as Eat Purely Pantry. This involved naming the initiative, designing its brand identity, and creating a fully integrated visual presence that extended across a new webpage and all marketing assets.

As Creative Lead, I oversaw the development of the brand’s social media presence and partner highlights. This included interviewing, filming, and photographing the local small businesses and artisans whose products we featured. Working closely with Culinary Director Chef Cory Morris, we designed a celebratory campaign around the value of local craftsmanship, highlighting the premium quality and sustainability of our partners’ offerings.

Creative Strategy: Our approach centered around emphasizing the value of purchasing local and supporting small businesses. Each time we introduced a new product or partner, we crafted social media content that focused on their alignment with our core values—quality, sustainability, and community support.

In one never-before-done campaign, I led the creative strategy that commissioned three local artists to create unique visuals, postcards, GIFs, and stickers, all celebrating the importance of buying local. These materials were showcased across social platforms, offering our audience both an artistic and educational experience.

Results: The impact of the campaign was significant:

  • Social media reach expanded by 500% during the campaign.

  • Engagement rates increased by 54%, with customers actively interacting with and sharing content.

  • The campaign successfully educated our audience on the importance of supporting local businesses while fostering deeper connections between Eat Purely and its community.

By combining storytelling, creative partnerships, and a strong focus on local values, Eat Purely Pantry not only grew its brand presence but also reinforced its commitment to sustainability and community support. The initiative became a powerful platform for local artisans and a celebrated addition to the Eat Purely family.
